Revealing the Sinister Nature of the Galactic Republic

Why I always rooted for the Separatist Alliance: the story of a true underdog fighting against a brutal oppressor.

At first glance, the Star Wars universe may seemed straightforward: the good versus the evil, the Galactic Republic versus the Separatist Alliance.

However, over time, I realized that this was far from the truth. The Republic was, in many ways, a brutal organization that, through significant discrimination, trapped certain planets and populations in an exploitative position.

The Star Wars story is, in many ways, much darker than initially assumed.
